Championnat d'Europe masters piste à Montichiari (Italie) : Martin en or / Chandavoine en argent

Le championnat d'Europe masters sur piste a débuté ce lundi sur le vélordome Italien de Montichiari et déjà les Français se distinguent !

Lors de cette 1ère journée Frédéric Martin (Loire et Sillon Cyclisme) obtient la médaille d'Or dans la poursuite individuelle chez les hommes 40-44 ans. Le Ligérien qui s'impose en qualification dans un temps de 3'33'300 s'impose en finale en devançant les Italiens Alberto Vanzo et Graziano Guerra. Karl Chandavoine (EC Quéven) décroche lui la médaille d'argent dans la poursuite individuelle hommes 35-39 ans. Le Morbihannais qui termine 2e en qualification derrière le Néerlandais Axel Boland a amélioré son temps en finale mais n'est pas parvenu à devancer ce même Boland. Le protégé de Nanou Savey réalise en finale un temps de  3'39''308.
